What is Our Team Synergy?
When it comes to measuring a team’s effectiveness with regard to their teamwork, Our Team Synergy provides the following:
1. Confidential assessment based on feedback from all team members.
2. Enables the generation of a comprehensive “Our Team Synergy Report”, with guidance and in-depth analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the team.
3. An online learning academy that teaches individuals how to understand and facilitate the Our Team Synergy Report.

What Does It Measure?
Like most models of teamwork, the model and report are not accredited, nor are they required to be, however, the model is based on over 30 years of working with 100s of teams, studying and understanding what makes some teams challenged, and other teams high performing.
This research has helped to create the model and subsequently, the Our Team Synergy Report, based on applicable questions, relating to the 16 areas of teamwork identified.

Why Has It Been Developed?
7 out of 10 teams do not measure the effectiveness and efficiency of their teamwork*, relying instead on measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which often relate to time, quality and cost.
However, it is the effectiveness and efficiency of their teamwork, that has a direct impact on those KPIs. By using a quantitative approach, the Our Team Synergy report can provide a greater in-depth assessment of what the team observes and what the team should focus on to further improve their performance when it comes to teamwork.

Is Our Team Synergy A Staff Engagement Survey?
No.
Staff Engagement Surveys tend to focus on questions that relate to the organisation, i.e. staff satisfaction, wellbeing, remuneration, leadership and loyalty to the organisation. Our Team Synergy focusses on the effectiveness of teamwork, at a team level.

What Teams Can Use It?
It has been used by leadership, operational and project teams across many industry sectors and countries, in the private, public and third sector. It has been developed to be used by teams that physically work together, as well as remote and hybrid teams.
How Long Must A Team Have Been Working Together To Benefit From It?
For individuals in a team that have joined less than three months ago, it is recommended that they do not complete the Our Team Synergy Questionnaire however, do take part in subsequent learning sessions, during which the Our Team Synergy Report is reviewed.
What Is The Largest Team It Can Be Used With?
It is recommended that the maximum number of respondents is 20, as research suggests that effectiveness of teamwork reduces significantly when team numbers are higher than this.
Who Can Become A Facilitator?

The report itself costs £400 per report, plus VAT.
You also pay an onboarding fee (Annual) of £180 plus VAT, which gets you access to the reporting hub and the Academy.
